Cassie Plimpton, 11-year-old graduate of the Barbizon School of Modeling,
along with 12 friends, brought joy and smiles to the residents of St.
Francis Home and Bishop Bradley Apartments Saturday afternoon, December
1, 2001. Theta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and Kim Thomas of Enhanced
Images sponsored Fashions of 2001, one of the events arranged by Cassie
to thank the community for supporting her efforts to join other young
models in Hollywood in January 2002. The young people modeled three
types of school uniforms, a variety of acceptable public school attire,
play clothes, sportswear and equipment, Sunday best and party dresses.
Kim and her sister, Carolyn Zagami exhibited clothing from the 1920
-1950s, a complete wedding ensemble, and hand-sewn formal wear.
and classical piano solos and patriotic singing by everyone added to
the delightful afternoon, which ended with many conversations while
everyone enjoyed the cookies and punch.
Those participating in addition to Cassie were her
brother Reid, her cousin Taylor Plimpton of Canterbury; Amy, Brenna
and Mary Cass, and Meghan Hubbard of Laconia; Pammie Louden of Center
Harbor, Kelsey Guarino and Bridgette Thomas of Meredith; Kelly and Melanie
Nix and Kayla Tibbetts of Belmont.
