Enhanced Images' challenge in creating a marketing plan, logo, and signage
for this emerging business was to accurately represent the diverse range
of interests, abilities and talents offered by Interlakes Automotive Repair,
while stressing it's strong technical capabilities. IAR thrives on its
reputation of quality… reliable, responsive, personalized service, and
Owner Pete Louden, Master Mechanic, boasts over twenty years of experience,
with current Ford and ASE certification. He is a NAPA representative,
offering detailed analysis of all makes and models through a computerized
automotive service system.
also has a strong interest in vintage vehicles, collecting antique cars,
tractors, trucks, and vintage signage. These factors combined to reveal
a "vintage, high tech, streamlined chrome" logo concept, and that evolved
in to IAR's tag line... "High Tech Service with Old Fashioned Quality".
The resulting logo represented the vintage familiarity
of collectible signage, while attracting fresh attention to an established
location in a small town atmosphere. The most important initial message
was the phone number… the company has since developed into a very succesful
business in the Lakes Region.
cards are printed in a portrait format, to accommodate the logo design
and create additional visual interest. A script for radio advertisement
was developed. The ad was designed to include revisions, with a ten-second
spot for seasonal specials.
